Head of Digital

Due to recent significant new business wins, we are looking to expand our digital team, and we now require a Head of Digital.

The Role – Head of Digital

Having established a small digital team, we now want to expand this team into a department that has expertise in a broad range of new media channels, one that is as effective at building micro sites on small budgets, as it is capable of being early adopters of new and innovative technology channels.

It is our intention that this department will work closely with our creative team to develop campaigns for our clients that are either entirely technology driven or integrated with more traditional media as required. Going forward, creativity will always be at the heart of our business and we will make all our recommendations to clients based on “message not media”.

The Candidate

The ‘right person’ is essential. We are a growing company and pride ourselves on the great relationship we have with our clients. We therefore only recruit people who can complement our environment and indeed, help us to develop and flourish.

Whilst it is difficult to define the ‘Gratterpalm person’ the ideal candidate would :

• Have experience of growing a Digital team
• Be able to demonstrate proven commercial acumen.
• Have Account Director/Project Management abilities for digital clients and Company digital projects
• Have the ability to work with Sales & Marketing team to win Digital pitches
• Be responsible for strategic development of existing client accounts to develop into long term digital accounts
• Have awareness of importance of information technology in the workplace
• Be competent with software and hardware e.g. Macs/ Microsoft/Flash
• Be a competent Marketeer
• Have excellent presentation skills
• Have proven people management skills
• AGENCY experience essential
• Driving licence essential
• Client contacts and access to revenue generating opportunities would be a distinct advantage.
